Jennifer Adamski

Clinical Director

Jennifer comes to Legacy with years of experience in program development and clinical services for a wide variety of populations including adults, veterans, children, and adolescents in services for both mental health and substance use. Jennifer has worked in a variety of levels of care, including outpatient, IIC, IOP, Partial Care, and Residential, acting as both clinical director and therapist. Through her pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Jennifer was able to pursue her goal of empowering others to overcome the challenges in their own lives.

Jennifer furthered her education by obtaining her credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) and is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Jennifer has also attended clinical training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and a trainer series in Motivational Interviewing (MI). Jennifer is also a certified trainer in QPR, a model for suicide prevention, and has worked as an advocate for the prevention of suicide as the previous Salem County coordinator for the Traumatic Loss Coalition.

Jennifer has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of levels of care. Jennifer strongly believes in providing evidence-based treatment but adapting these treatments to best meet the individualized needs of the clients she serves. In addition to providing care across the lifespan, Jennifer also managed programs that primarily served veterans and military families and worked as an advocate in the veteran community for several years.
