Our Levels of Care

Addiction treatment programs are different for everyone and can be customized based on the individual’s needs. Below are some of the levels of care offered at Legacy Healing Center locations.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP is usually the first level of care for patients who require a medical detox. This is an intensive, highly structured program that offers a minimum of 25 hours of clinical treatment per week, community housing in a beautiful residential setting, scheduled evening programs, 12-step meetings, and relationship-building sessions. Our PHP is a 6 days a week day/night program that’s ideal for patients who may be resistant to treatment, lack support systems at home, or are prone to relapse.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP program in Fort Lauderdale is usually a step down from PHP. It includes optional community housing at our facility, addiction therapy services, 12-step meetings, and sober social activities to expose and help clients meet others in the recovery community and help them build relationships that are supportive of their sobriety. Clients in our intensive outpatient program for addiction undergo a minimum of nine hours of clinical treatment per week and can follow a flexible schedule that allows them to work, attend school, and go home to loved ones every night.

Outpatient Program

Our Fort Lauderdale outpatient rehab program is another level of care that’s suitable for clients who have undergone some form of detox and residential treatment and now need support as they transition to day-to-day life. This program offers aftercare services like group meetings and sober activities to connect clients with our sponsors and others in the recovery community.

Substance-Specific Drug Treatment Programs

In addition to offering various levels of care, Legacy Healing also offers various Fort Lauderdale rehab programs that are specialized in treating specific substance use disorders. Because every drug may be used differently and produces various side effects, our facility believes it’s important to offer customized programs for treating specific addictions.

Medically supervised detox is a major part of our treatment programs as it addresses arguably the most challenging step in recovery: withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms occur as the body rids itself of drugs and alcohol and may vary in severity depending on the substance in question. Medical detox includes medication-assisted treatment and tapering schedules to ease this discomfort and increase clients’ likelihood of completing treatment.
