Our Stages of Care

For individuals in the midst of a substance use disorder, or SUD for short, deciding to pursue treatment is one of the most fearless things they can do. It is understandable that there is hesitancy involved, especially for those who are new to the world of recovery. Each individual that enters our Pompano rehab is greeted with the care and compassion they deserve. Our multidisciplinary teams will evaluate them through a set of psychiatric, social, and medical assessments designed to gain a better understanding of the addiction in question. This can also reveal underlying medical conditions, knowledge which can be useful for the treatments to come. 

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The PHP level provides a healthy mix of clinical sessions, 12-step programs, evening meetings, and relationship-building practices. Patients will experience a minimum of 25 hours of clinical treatment a week, during which they will reside at our beautiful residential facility for 6 days out of the week.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP in Pompano Beach is an excellent choice for patients interested in beginning to reintegrate into everyday life while still maintaining that ample support they experienced within the PHP. Recovery does not happen overnight, and this program is intended to provide aid to people still in the early stages of treatment. Housing is optional, and sober social activities can expose patients to peers in the recovery community. These kinds of relationships are proven to be conducive to maintaining sobriety.

<span>Outpatient </span>Treatment

Being the least intensive option offered, patients in this program have the option to go home after their sessions conclude, allowing them to adjust to their new sober life outside of rehab. They also have the ability to resume their studies, work a job, and continue to develop independent living. Surrounding yourself with people that uplift your sobriety rather than enable your addiction can have a profound impact on your ability to avoid relapse.

Medically Assisted Detox

For most SUD patients, detoxification will serve as the first step in addiction treatment. This is especially prevalent in patients with more severe cases. When the presence of an addictive substance is removed, the body begins to undergo withdrawal symptoms. These physical and mental experiences can be downright dangerous when dealt with alone, making our Legacy detox an optimal choice for individuals in need of this kind of support.
