Pompano Programs for Addiction Treatment

Treatments for Pompano Residents

Choosing to attend rehab is not easy, but it is one of the most courageous steps an addicted person can take. When choosing where to pursue this treatment, it is important to pick a facility that understands the complexities of this disease and applies this knowledge to each patient’s unique case. For south Florida residents striving for sobriety, Legacy’s Pompano programs may be the missing piece to the puzzle.

Levels of Treatment

Recovery is not a one size fits all experience. Legacy Healing Center of Pompano Beach understands this and has crafted effective program options designed to be tailored to each individual’s needs. A clinical assessment will be administered upon arrival, where our clinical staff will determine the optimal route of care. Factors include the kind of substance to which the patient is addicted, how long they have been addicted, and how much is in the patient’s system at the time they are admitted. Below is a description of each level and how it is used in the process of rehabilitation.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The PHP level is typically the first classification of care, during which intensive, highly structured programs are utilized to tackle your dependency head-on. It is likely the option that follows a medical detox if such an intervention is necessary. While detox handles the physical symptoms of addiction and withdrawal, our partial hospitalization is responsible for providing 25 hours of clinical treatment a week, designed to understand where the disease came from on a mental level.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP in Pompano Beach may include communal housing, addiction counseling, 12-step meetings, and social activities which emphasize the newfound presence of sobriety. It is a step down from the PHP program and allows patients to utilize nine hours of clinical treatment per week whilst readjusting to life outside our facility.

Outpatient Treatment Program

Similar to IOP, the Legacy outpatient program operates as a means of readjustment to everyday life following rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on fostering relationships that are supportive of maintaining sobriety. This is done through group meetings, sober activities, and community building. Patients can also resume their studies and return to work if applicable.

Programs Specified by Substance

To reinforce these levels of care, our facilities also utilize substance-specific programs. The physical and mental experience of each addiction varies, meaning effective treatment must adapt to a person’s individual needs.

Our Pompano programs for substance abuse treatment include:

  • – Alcohol Addiction Treatment
  • – Benzodiazepine Addiction Treatment
  • – Cocaine Addiction Treatment
  • – Heroin Addiction Treatment
  • – Methamphetamine Addiction Treatment
  • – Opioid Addiction Treatment
  • – Prescription Drug Addiction Treatment

Dual Diagnosis can also be applied if a patient is struggling with multiple addictions or mental disorders.
