From the moment that you walk through the doors at Legacy Healing, you will instantly feel as though you are walking into a home away from home type setting. You will be met with the smiling yet caring faces of our team, who are there to help guide you along in your recovery.
Your time at Legacy will be made up of a combination of therapy and activities that will help reinforce your newfound sobriety. We utilize different therapeutic techniques in every recovery plan. One of the main forms of therapy that you will take part in at Legacy Healing is group therapy. If you have ever been to a 12-step meeting before, you will notice that group therapy follows the same model type. You will have the opportunity to share your opinions about certain topics associated with addiction and recovery. In turn, your fellow group members will be given a chance to share their feelings.

Another important form of therapy that we offer is individual therapy. These sessions consist of meeting in a personalized setting with our counselors to talk about various topics. This time allows you to speak more in-depth with a team member about important events in your life that may have impacted your decision to begin using drugs or alcohol. One-on-one therapy is the ideal environment to dig into these issues more simply because you may not always feel comfortable speaking about them in a group setting.
As addiction experts, we also realize that addiction tends to affect every family member, which is also why we offer family therapy. This process allows you and your family to speak with you and a member of the Legacy team in a neutral setting. Taking part in family therapy gives you the chance to speak about your addiction’s ramifications and begin to work together toward healing.
When you are not participating in therapy, there are countless activities that you can take part in that will also aid in your recovery. For example, did you know that regular exercise can help to reduce your anxiety and stress? We offer every client the opportunity to work out with one of our personal trainers to get into a healthy routine that will physically and emotionally affect you.
You can also opt to pick up a book at our library or take the time to speak with one of our spiritual advisors. Our staff gives you an abundance of opportunities to pursue different sober friendly activities that will only help to further your overall recovery. If there is anything in particular that interests you, let us know, and we can put together a list of activity options for you.
How Much Does Rehab Cost?
When considering the cost associated with care, you should always keep in mind that your treatment program is personalized to your needs. Therefore, the cost of your program will be based on your individual recovery needs. Legacy Healing Center does work with and accept a wide variety of insurance carriers. One of our intake specialists can go over those details when you first reach out to us.

How Does Drug Detox Work?
When you are ready to remove the influence of drugs in your life, it’s important that you first go through the detox process. When your body no longer consumes its drug of choice, you will have a physical and emotional reaction to the event, referred to as withdrawal.
Going through the withdrawal process can be extremely dangerous, which is why it’s not suggested that you try to attempt it unless you are under the watchful eye of an addiction expert. Drug withdrawal symptoms can appear anywhere between eight and 48 hours after the last time you consumed your drug of choice and can last for over a week in some cases. Examples of withdrawal symptoms include diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, excessive sweating, and muscle cramps.
How Does Alcohol Detox Work?
There is not a significant difference between drug detox and alcohol detox. The science behind your withdrawal works the same way. Once your body realizes that it will no longer consume your drink or drug of choice, you will begin to experience withdrawal symptoms. Similar to withdrawing from drugs, alcohol withdrawal can also present severe symptoms.
Call Legacy Healing Center 24/7 to speak with an intake specialist. Calls are completely confidential.
Alcohol withdrawal symptoms typically manifest themselves a few hours after your last drink and usually last for a few days. Although it’s nearly impossible to predict what symptoms you will experience during this timeframe, common withdrawal symptoms include insomnia, an increase in anxiety, nausea and shakiness. In more severe cases, you may experience a seizure or delirium.
Like detoxing from drugs, it’s never advisable for you to attempt to detox from alcohol unless you are under the care of a trained medical professional who can monitor your symptoms closely during the important hours and days.
How Long Is Rehab?
An advantage of coordinating with the Legacy Healing Center team when it comes to putting together a recovery plan is that we provide you with the flexibility to choose the length of your treatment plan. At Legacy, we offer treatment programs that last as little as 30 days and up to 90 days. Before you finalize your decision, we strongly recommend that you take the time to speak about your options with our team, so you understand the benefits of each duration.
Regardless of the length of your program, there are important advantages of coming to Legacy for treatment. First and foremost, by enrolling in a treatment plan, you are breaking the cycle of addiction. When you change the people, places and things around you that may contribute to your addiction, you take the first step toward overcoming it.
When possible, we will suggest that you take advantage of our 90-day treatment plan. This format gives you the best opportunity to achieve long-term sobriety and truly address the events in your life that may have triggered your addiction. You will still take part in the same form of therapy and activities that clients that opt to go through our 30 or 60-day program do, but you will give yourself more time to heal and truly feel the benefits of going through the recovery process.
Remember, you can always start with a 30-day program if you don’t yet feel comfortable committing to a 60 or 90-day program. If you would like to change your treatment plan at any time, you can always request to speak to a member of our staff to discuss your options.
Does My Insurance
Have Coverage for Rehab?
One of the common questions that we field from clients interested in coming to Legacy Healing is connected with insurance coverage. Legacy Healing Center accepts a number of insurance carriers that may help cover your program’s cost. Today, many of the leading insurance companies will offer some type of coverage since addiction has become such a serious issue in our country.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that some insurance companies may only cover certain aspects of treatment. For example, many insurance companies will cover the costs of a residential program. However, they may not be willing to cover a detox program. Additionally, suppose you recently went through a program at another facility. In that case, your insurance company may require you to wait a certain amount of time before you can enroll in another one.
If you need help determining what is covered by your insurance company, a member of our team is always happy to help. We will work with you to help you cut through the red tape to ensure that you get the most benefit through one of our programs.
