Why Golf Is Better Sober and How to Enjoy it Without Alcohol
For many golfers in Long Island that also suffer from substance abuse issues, it may feel as though drinking and play a round of golf simply go hand-in-hand. The majority of golf courses in and around Long Island maintain a bar. In fact, several golf courses have staff members that will bring a round of drinks to you while you’re teeing off.
However, think about the times that you drank and attempted to play golf. How successful were you at the game? The odds are that your game would have been much better if you had played sober and you were able to focus on every swing.
When you come to Legacy Healing Center, we will teach you the benefits of maintaining your sobriety not only when you’re playing golf but also during any activity. You will begin to notice that golf, spending time with friends or family members, and life all around is much better when you decide to do so soberly.
