The bulk of your time at our treatment facility will revolve around participating in various forms of therapy. This type of counseling will help you address the events in your life that may have triggered your addiction, develop a better understanding of the disease, and help you formulate a plan so that you can avoid falling back into addiction once you are done with treatment.

Without question, group therapy will play an important role throughout your recovery. This form of treatment provides you with a unique opportunity to make connections with other clients that may have the same experiences as you. You and the other people in your group will have a chance to talk about different topics associated with addiction and begin developing a friendship.

One of the other forms of therapy that we offer at Legacy Healing is family therapy. When you are grappling with addiction, it’s not uncommon for the relationship that you had with your family members to fall apart. When you are ready, and if you are interested in putting those relationships back together, we can arrange for you and your loved ones to participate in a family therapy session. Where Does Detox Fit in?

Many of our clients are still in active addiction when they first reach out to us. If you fall into that category, we will strongly recommend that you first work through a detox program before starting your recovery program. The reason for this is that to get the most out of your time at Legacy, you need to do so without the influence of your drug of choice. The problem is that it is not as simple as no longer taking that drug, especially in the first few days.

Within just a few hours of the last time you consumed your drug of choice, you will begin to feel physical and emotional effects. Although it’s impossible to predict how you will feel, there is a strong possibility that you will not be able to take care of yourself, which is the leading reasons why we recommend you never try to go through the detox process unless you are under the supervision of a trained medical team.

Inpatient Drug Rehab

Our inpatient program is tailored for clients that would like to remain at our facility while they are working through the various aspects of their recovery. Our luxurious facility is set up so you will feel as though you are walking into a home away from home type of environment. During the course of your day, you will take part in various therapy sessions. Once you are done, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the different amenities that we have to offer. Outpatient Drug Rehab

As addiction experts, we understand that every client is different. Therefore, not every client may have the flexibility to work through our inpatient program for one reason or another. For these types of clients, we will recommend that they register for our outpatient treatment program. Clients that work through our outpatient treatment program will come to our campus on specific days and times for a period of time. You will still participate in the same forms of therapy as clients in our inpatient program. However, your plan will be more focused on your scheduling restrictions.
