Inpatient Drug Rehab for Boynton Beach Residents

Inpatient Drug Rehab for Boynton Beach Residents

Effective addiction treatment is an extensive and complicated process. Rehab essentially needs to help an addict change their life around in a drastic way to help the addict to abstain from drug abuse to prevent the many problems that it causes. No treatment program does that better than an inpatient program. Our inpatient drug rehab in South Florida, can be an ideal place to find this intense form of addiction treatment.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), inpatient rehab is easily the most intensive form of addiction treatment, and it provides benefits that other forms of treatment settings don’t have, such as outpatient rehab.

At Legacy Healing Center’s fully accredited inpatient drug rehab, we provide addicts with the supportive foundation and all of the evidence-based treatment methods that can help to change an addict’s life for the better. We achieve these results through our personalized holistic treatment approach that not only treats the direct causes of addiction, but also helps to improve the overall quality of life for the individual in treatment and after rehab.

What is Inpatient Drug Rehab?

Inpatient rehab is also commonly referred to as residential rehab for drug addiction. It is a treatment setting that requires that an addict pack their essentials such as clothing and toiletries and then live at our inpatient drug rehab.

Inpatient rehab is successful for several reasons. Firstly, by staying at the rehab center as opposed to one’s home, you are removed from potential negative influences such as drug availability and drug abusing friends that may pressure the person trying to stop into taking more drugs. Poor relationships and other things that may be a trigger to substance abuse are also removed from the person’s life during their recovery.

Our inpatient drug rehab also allows an addict’s full focus to be put on recovery. There is nothing to worry about expect for their own healing and recovery from an addiction. Every day is filled with therapeutic and healing activities in order to maximize and focus an addict’s time in rehab toward their recovery.

With a full focus on healing and positive change, along with the removal of drugs and negative influences from an addict’s life, it makes getting off drugs and changing one’s life far easier and more likely than if a person were to still take part in their normal routine and only go to rehab for a few hours each week in an outpatient program.

During a residential rehab program, the types of treatments that an addict will be involved with include a medically-assisted detoxification, various forms of evidence-based behavioral therapy, family therapy, exercise, mental wellness programs, and programs to improve motivation. Behavioral therapy takes place in both an individual and group format.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

Rehab can take as long as an individual requires; there is no limit to how long someone can be in rehab for. Some people may be able to make a full recovery in a shorter period of time while others may be dealing with a severe addiction and co-occurring mental disorders which will likely take longer to fully treat.

While each person may require a different length of treatment at our inpatient drug rehab, there is a suggested minimum amount of time that one needs in rehab for treatment to be effective, according to NIDA. NIDA’s research suggests that an addict should take part in rehab and aftercare programs that are available after rehab for at least 90 days.

The 90-day suggested length of treatment would require a person to take part in rehab programs and aftercare services for three months at a minimum. For example, a person may be placed in a 30-day inpatient program, then take part in an outpatient program for another month, and then carry on with their treatment and support through aftercare programs such as sober living homes or 12-step programs.

60-Day Rehab

One of the treatment program lengths that our inpatient drug rehab has is our 60-day drug rehab program. The program has all of the principals and treatment methods that make an accredited rehab program successful, such as medical detox and behavioral therapy through a holistic healing approach.

A recovering person in our two-month rehab program usually begins with a medical detox for roughly a week, then proceeds to take part in the many therapies and holistic healing programs that we offer at our inpatient drug rehab.

By the end of the program, the coping skills, motivation, behavioral changes, and alternative responses to triggers that a recovering person needs to beat addiction will be in place, and they will be ready to continue their abstinence maintenance through aftercare services.

90-Day Long-Term Rehab

One of the longest treatment terms that we offer at our residential rehab is our 90-day drug rehab. The process of treatment is similar to our 60-day program, but with even more time to dedicate to our intensive therapies.

For a person who has relapsed after treatment before, or suffers from an all-consuming drug addiction, our three-month rehab program is able to help them to create a healing space that can facilitate the long-term changes that are needed. It is enough time in recovery to not only deal with behavioral problems but also help a recovering person to re-socialize and reintegrate into a normal life again.
