How Much Does Rehab Cost?

When you first reach out to our intake specialist, they will give you a better idea of the cost of treatment. We accept several different private insurance carriers, but we can always discuss a payment plan to make your stay at Legacy more manageable if you do not have private insurance.

Does Insurance Cover Residential Rehab?

Most insurance companies will cover at least part of a residential recovery program. Keep in mind that the coverage for every insurance company can be different, however. Some insurance companies may only cover your stay at Legacy for a certain amount of days and will not provide you with a detox program option. Other companies would not cover your visit at Legacy if you were previously at another treatment facility recently. What Is the Difference Between Inpatient and Outpatient?

The significant difference between an inpatient and an outpatient program is where you live during the course of your plan. For example, if you opt to go through our outpatient program, you will only come to Legacy during designated days and times for treatment. Conversely, if you decide to enroll in our inpatient program, you will sleep, eat, and live on our campus during the stretch of your program.

Whether you enroll in our inpatient or one of our outpatient programs, you will still take part in the same treatment forms. Group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling, and behavioral therapy are the primary treatment forms that generally take a focal role in your plan. It’s critical that you keep your mind and heart open to the topics you hear during therapy. Although they may be difficult to hear at times, this new way of thinking or understanding will help you overcome your addiction and maintain your sobriety.

Sober Friendly Attractions Near Bronx, NY

Once you complete treatment at Legacy Healing Center in South Florida and return home to the Bronx, you must immerse yourself in a healthy routine. This process should always include staying active, eating healthy, and attending regular 12-step meetings. We strongly encourage our newly graduated clients to try to make an effort to participate in 12-step discussions daily, if possible, during their first few days and weeks at home. If that is not possible, try to go to meetings at least a few times a week. When you are not attending to other responsibilities, we recommend you take advantage of visiting some of the numerous sober friendly attractions in and around the Bronx area.  

Bronx Zoo

If you are an animal lover, the Bronx Zoo is a venue that you will not want to miss visiting. This massive 265-acre zoo includes over 4,000 animals and is deemed one of the United States’ largest zoos. Some of the signature exhibits include the Congo Gorilla Forest and Tiger Mountain, and the World of Reptiles. The Bronx Zoo is open every day of the week between 10 AM and 5 PM.

Pelham Bay Park

Pelham Bay Park is considered the largest public park in New York City. The park was first developed in 1888. However, the area is known for playing a pivotal role during the American Revolutionary War regarding the Battle of Pell’s Point. Today, the park is filled not only with beautiful outdoor scenery but wildlife sanctuaries, a beach, an equestrian center as well as a golf course. The park is open every day between 6 AM and 10 PM.

Concrete Plant Park

Are you a budding or avid chess player? Do you enjoy walking or biking? If the answer is yes, you should make time to visit Concrete Plant Park. The park has a number of concrete paths that circle its seven acres and a reading circle. Concrete Plant Park is easily accessible through the New York City Subway, which makes it a breeze to visit regardless of whether you intend to walk or use public transportation.
