Where Can I Find Help?

Many people mistakenly believe that when they are ready to overcome their addiction to drugs, they need to do so independently. This thinking couldn’t be further from the truth. The Legacy Healing Center team is here to provide you with the support and guidance you need to address the triggers in your life that are impacting your sobriety and help you put together a plan that will help you remain sober for the rest of your life.

What to Expect

When you come to Legacy, you can expect nothing less than the personal care that you deserve. Your Legacy experience will significantly depend on whether you decide to go through our inpatient or outpatient program. Clients that choose to take advantage of our inpatient program will live on our campus for 30, 60, or 90 days. You will have access to various amenities that will make you feel as though you are living in a home away from home.

On the other hand, outpatient clients will come to Legacy at set days and times throughout the week for treatment. You will still experience the same forms of therapy that one of our inpatient clients would; however, you will have the flexibility to cater to your personal or professional responsibilities.

Why Legacy?

The Legacy Healing Center team in South Florida prides itself on taking a unique approach to treatment. We understand the fact that every client that walks through our doors has their own story. Our team takes the time to get to know you to help you develop a treatment plan that will suit your goals. We are always available to speak to you if you feel uncomfortable or if you want to change your treatment plan.

One of the best opportunities to communicate with our team is through individual therapy. During these sessions, you will have the chance to share more about your story in a personalized setting with one of our counselors. We take this meeting as a chance to check in with you and make sure that you feel as though you are making the most out of your time at our facility.

Sober Friendly Attractions Near Brooklyn

Brooklyn is filled with many fun sober attractions that you may not have noticed when you were grappling with your addiction. Before you make plans to see some of these locations, we always caution our clients to first make plans to attend 12-step meetings in the area. Going to 12-step meetings regularly will help you develop relationships with people in the area on their own recovery journey. Once you feel comfortable being back home, you can then focus on visiting some of these sites.

Barclays Center

Do you enjoy basketball? Look through the schedule for the Brooklyn Nets. The Brooklyn Nets call Barclays Center home, which is located in the heart of Brooklyn. This arena is relatively new, which means that it’s nearly impossible for you not to get a great seat so that you can see all the action of the game. However, keep in mind that this venue does serve alcohol, so if you feel uncomfortable, you can bring a sober friend or family member with you.

Biggie Mural

Brooklyn is filled with cultural attractions and memorials dedicated to celebrities that once called Brooklyn home. The Biggie Mural is an example of such a site. The mural was designed to commemorate Christopher Wallace, also known as Notorious B.I.G. Wallace was a popular rapper throughout the 1990s. He was ultimately murdered in a drive-by shooting. As a result, Brooklyn natives developed an incredible memorial to keep his memory alive.
