Luxury Rehab For Charleston, SC Residents

What Is Luxury Rehab?

Many people have the common misconception that when committing to a treatment program for drug or alcohol addiction, you are dedicating yourself to a strict and rigorous schedule of therapy sessions or cold and unsympathetic activities.

At Legacy Healing Center in South Florida, we believe in a different approach to recovery. We work to provide you with a luxurious environment that will help you feel like you are arriving at your home away from home from the moment you walk through the door.

Who Is Luxury Rehab For?

Are you currently struggling with an addiction to drugs or alcohol? Are you ready to make a concerted effort to overcome your addiction? If so, our luxury treatment facility in South Florida is for you. Our staff has a unique understanding of the stresses associated with addiction. In many cases, this is due to the fact that they may have personally combated an addiction. In other cases, a member of our team may have been impacted by a loved one’s addiction. Either way, you can always count on our addiction experts to treat you with the utmost care, professionalism, and respect as you begin to navigate this new part of your life.

Do Luxury Rehab Centers Have Private Rooms?

If you opt to participate in our inpatient program, you will eat, sleep, and participate in different forms of therapy and activities while living on at our facility.

While we understand that your privacy is important, during your time at Legacy, you will share your room with a fellow client. Although this may seem uncomfortable at first, it’s an excellent way to begin to develop your own support system and gain a better understanding of healthy interaction. If you have any concerns, you can always share them with a member of our staff.

Do Luxury Rehabs Have On-Site Chefs?

At Legacy, we believe that the best way for you to heal from addiction is to nourish your body, mind, and soul. When you come to our facility, you will never need to worry about going hungry. Our top-of-the-line chefs create a mix of healthy meals that will fuel you and allow you to focus on the steps you need to take during your recovery. A good rule of thumb is to let one of our intake specialists know if you have any allergies to any foods so that we can note that in your file.

Do Luxury Rehabs Offer Personal Trainers?

Setting aside time to work out as often as possible is an excellent way to help yourself along the road toward recovery. We offer our clients the option to work with our personal trainers to develop an exercise schedule that you can stick to.

Remember, exercise is good for your physical health, but it can help reduce stress and anxiety, which are two leading factors that contribute to addiction.

Sober Friendly Attractions for Charleston Residents

Once you return home to Charleston after completing rehab at Legacy in South Florida, it’s vital to settle into a healthy pattern as you adjust back to normal life. You can accomplish this by attending 12-step meetings, and we also recommend you set aside time to visit some of the sober friendly attractions in and around the Charleston area.

Visiting these venues alone can serve as a way to learn more about yourself now that you are in recovery. You can also attend with a group of friends or family members that you are trying to grow close with, now that you are in a better place in your life.

Here are some suggestions or places to visit:

Fort Sumter

Charleston is filled with historical locations that played a role in our nation’s history from the Revolutionary War up through the Civil War. An example of one such place is Fort Sumter. Fort Sumter was a bittersweet site during the Revolutionary War with a tremendous victory in 1776 and a devastating defeat in 1780. On April 12, 1861, the first shots of the Civil War rang out, which forever changed the United States. You will need to access Fort Sumter by boat, but keep in mind that the ferry schedule changes depending on the season.

Fort Sumter is located at 340 Concord Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29401.

The Williams Mansion

The Williams Mansion solidified its place in history by hosting George Washington three times in 1791. George Williams was considered a true patriot as well as a well-known banker and businessman. Today, the house is still a private residence. However, certain sections of the mansion are available for tours to the general public. Tour typically begin at 11 AM during certain times of the year with the last one starting at 5 PM.

You can visit The Williams Mansion at 16 Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29401.

Francis Marion National Forest

Do you enjoy being in the great outdoors? If the answer is yes, you should plan to take the short drive out to the Francis Marion National Forest. This national forest is located just north of the center of Charleston. Visitors have the opportunity to walk a variety of trails carved throughout the lush green trees. If you are not up for a hike, you can opt to camp, mountain bike, or even go for a horseback ride. Different recreational activities are only available during specific times during the week, so you may want to check ahead before you visit.

The Francis Marion National Forest is located at 2967 Steed Creek Road, Huger, South Carolina 29450.

The Legacy Healing Center team works around the clock to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during your time in treatment.
