What Is The Difference Between Inpatient and Outpatient?

Inpatient drug rehab and outpatient rehabilitation programs at Legacy Healing Center both focus on helping the client’s mind and body heal from the addiction, but there are a few differences between the two. Outpatient rehabilitation programs are programs that are geared towards individuals with a more mild addiction because it allows for flexibility in scheduling. Clients that participate in an outpatient program are able to maintain certain responsibilities such as work or family and do so by living at home while also attending treatment. Outpatient type programs require that individuals attend treatment programs at Legacy Healing Center a few times a week and then returning home after, all while maintaining a semi-normal life.

Inpatient rehabilitation programs are for individuals who have a more severe addiction and require that clients live on-site for the duration of their program.
