Stages Of Addiction Treatment Near Delray

Levels of Care at Our Facilities

Pursuing rehabilitation may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Being informed about the processes involved in our programs grants patients the ability to know what comes next and how they can get the most out of their recovery experience. At Legacy Healing, we understand this and seek to engage with our clients atop principles of respect, dignity, and empathy. Each of our stages of addiction treatment is designed to meet patients where they are at in their disorder and, in turn, provide them with the best care possible. With locations in and around South Florida, a fulfilling, sober life could be just a phone call away.

Which program a patient will enter is determined by a set of medical, social, and psychiatric assessments that will begin to paint the picture of what may be causing their addiction. These evaluations will give our clinical staff a better understanding of the individual and the severity of their condition while also highlighting any dual diagnoses that should be considered. Read on to learn more about each individual stage available at our South Florida addiction center.

Medically Monitored Detox

Most people in the midst of addiction will begin to experience withdrawal symptoms when forced to stop. As the result of physical dependence, these symptoms can range in severity from uncomfortable, to painful, to downright life-threatening. This is why we highly encourage anyone in this position to seek out medical help from our Legacy detox, with professionals whose job it is to effectively care for patients, regardless of their situation.

For patients in need of detox near Delray Beach, FL, Legacy Healing offers such services at our Pompano treatment center. Our medical team is able to place our clients on a tapering schedule, administer medication as needed, and work to ease discomfort and prevent complications.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

If a person is especially prone to relapse, lacks a support system, or is overall resistant to treatment, our partial hospitalization program is an excellent option. This intensive, highly structured program includes a minimum of 25 hours of clinical treatment per week, 6 days/night a week, and offers community housing within a lovely residential setting. Scheduled evening programs are designed to support your developing recovery, along with relationship-building sessions that seek to manage the isolating nature of addiction.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP for Delray Beach residents will allow these individuals the opportunity to begin reintegrating into everyday life. Effective recovery is an ongoing process, and a minimum of 9 hours of clinical treatment will continue to provide support. Housing is optional, giving patients the opportunity to return home at the end of the day and reunite with their loved ones. Additionally, group therapy and social activities designed to uphold said sobriety are a highlight of this program.

 Outpatient Program

As our least intensive option, participants have the opportunity to return to work, their studies, or any other obligations that may have paused due to the rehabilitation process. As group sessions continue, patients will be surrounded by peers that understand the importance of maintaining recovery and a sober lifestyle.

Addiction can have an effect on more than just the person suffering from it. Family programs are available to the spouses, parents, and children of our patients, providing a space for them to begin their own healing process. They will also gain a better understanding of the nature of this disease.
