Inpatient Drug Rehab for Fort Pierce Residents

Inpatient Drug Rehab for Fort Pierce Residents

An inpatient treatment program, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, is the most intensive form of addiction treatment there is. As such, it tends to have the greatest success in treating an addiction to alcohol or drugs. Our inpatient rehab in South Florida can provide you with the ideal healing space with therapeutic and holistic treatment approaches that can help to deal with an addiction properly.

In 2017, over 70,200 people met an end to their lives from the direct result of abusing drugs. Drug overdose deaths may be the worst possible result of an addiction, but even a moderate addiction can have a dramatic effect in a person’s life.

At our inpatient rehab, personalized treatment plans that use the most effective forms of evidence-based therapies and methods of treating the disease can be found. Our dedicated staff who boast a combined 150 years of addiction treatment experience can help to bring the best out of you or a loved one in the recovery from substance addiction.

What is Inpatient Drug Rehab?

Inpatient drug rehab, or residential rehab, is a type of setting that traditional forms of addiction treatment takes place in. Instead of a person staying at home and only coming in for treatment when they have appointments, a patient will stay at our residential facility, allowing them to put all of their focus on energy on getting better.

At an inpatient rehab such as Legacy Healing Center, there is no risk of relapse and overdose as a result of suddenly having lowered tolerance levels after stopping for a few days because our facility is completely free of drugs and alcohol.

The people who are best suited for this type of treatment setting as opposed to outpatient settings are addicts who wish to recover from an addiction but fear that their home life and social circle will make it impossible to recover. The negative influences that an addict has, from strained relationships that trigger drug use to drug-abusing friends and peer pressure, are completely removed in an inpatient setting, giving the recovering person the best chance at healing.

Our inpatient rehab is considered to be the most intensive because every day in a patient’s life is structured in a way that allows them to partake in several crucial healing programs throughout the day. These programs range from exercise, yoga, and community engagement to behavioral therapies in a group and private setting.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

There is no way to say exactly how long rehab will take to properly complete without first doing a clinical assessment of a person’s individual needs. Addiction treatment programs must be tailormade if treatment success is to be achieved. At our inpatient rehab, we carefully assess every need our patients may have in treatment by exploring their addiction severity, their family dynamics, history of substance abuse, and their mental and physical health among other important information.

With this in mind, there is research from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and other relevant organizations on addiction sciences that suggests that the more time a person spends in recovery programs, the greater their chance at a successful recovery becomes – with 90 days being a generalized suggested treatment length.

However, this doesn’t mean that a person must spend all three months in a single program; an addict’s recovery journey may come from a combination of inpatient, outpatient, and aftercare services that together satisfy their individual treatment needs. In most cases, patients will need around 90 days total to be able to reap the benefits of clinical, accredited substance use disorder treatment.

60-Day Rehab

One of the favored methods of treating a mild to severe addiction to drugs such as opioids, meth, and cocaine are our 60-day rehab programs. This program length allows for our clients to partake in a medically assisted detox program that greatly assists with dealing with and managing the more uncomfortable and even dangerous symptoms of withdrawal.

The majority of the 60-day rehab program will be spent on behavioral therapy and holistic healing. The treatment methods and approaches that we incorporate into our treatment programs are designed to not only help a person heal from addiction and overcome it, but also helps them with other things in their life that may be affected by or contributed to their situation prior to finding treatment. This includes career services, physical exercise, treatment for co-occurring mental disorders or dual diagnosis, family therapy, and nutritious food.

The end of a 60-day drug rehab is not the end of treatment; 60-day inpatient rehab is an intensive form of treatment that can jumpstart a person into a life of sobriety, but management of the disease must continue after rehab. As such, we make various aftercare services available to our clients so that they may improve on their recovery long after rehab.

What Opioid Rehab is Like

Our programs at our opioid rehab are focused on providing clinical and holistic care for opioid abuse. We have specialized programs that are ideal for opioid addiction recovery, and we have been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission for these programs.

Rehab for opioid addiction involves a medically assisted detox, and then focuses on behavioral therapies, family therapy, and holistic therapy to help an addict make the changes in their life that will help them to stop drug abuse for good.

These programs are offered in an inpatient our outpatient settings, and both settings will incorporate group and individual therapy to treat patients.

The time in our opioid rehab will be spent in a healing environment surrounded by supporting staff that provide the treatments that we offer. The experience of rehab is a healing one that supports a person through all of the changes they need to make.
