How Long Does Rehab Last For Fort Worth Residents?

What Types of Durations Are There?

An understandable concern among many clients interested in coming to Legacy Healing Center in South Florida is associated with the treatment duration. When you are considering the length of your treatment, it’s important to remember that your addiction did not develop overnight, which means that it will take longer than just a few days for you to overcome it. Although you will begin to feel better within the few days after you cease to consume your drug or drink of choice, you will need to put in consistent work over the coming weeks and months to achieve sobriety.

Benefits of 30, 60, and 90-day Rehabs

One of the leading benefits of a 30, 60, or 90-day treatment plan is that you are breaking the initial cycle of addiction regardless of your program’s length. By changing the people, places, and environment around you that may have enabled your addiction, you can begin to focus on the steps you need to overcome.

Another advantage of coming to Legacy Healing is that we offer various forms of therapy that help you better understand your addiction’s root cause. At Legacy Healing, we incorporate behavioral, family, and group therapy to assist in the process.

Individual therapy will also play an essential role in your overall recovery. During one-on-one therapy, you will be given a chance to dive into the life events that could have caused you to turn to addiction. Although you will still be encouraged to share these experiences during group therapy, you may not always feel comfortable doing so, especially if you are in the beginning stages of your recovery.

A member of our team will take the time to listen to these traumas or occurrences and work with you on a plan of what you can do so that these events do not continue to trigger you in the future.

Thistle Hill House Museum

The Thistle Hill House Museum is a prominent historical place to visit in the Fort Worth area. The house was first built in 1903 and is a symbol of wealth and power during that time. Today, many tourists are drawn to the place due to reports that it is haunted. The house has been meticulously restored, and visitors can take 45-minute guided tours of the house’s different rooms during certain hours between Wednesday and Sunday.

You can visit the Thistle Hill House Museum at 1509 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104.

Hell’s Half Acre

The economic boom in Texas in 1876 caused a myriad of issues and general excitement in the Fort Worth areas. This increase in problematic activity resulted from the Pacific Railway development, which caused an influx of gamblers and hooligans to run amuck in the city. Interestingly enough, law enforcement would allow this behavior to take part in the town simply because they understood that it allowed the economy to keep growing. Today, this area is referred to as Hell’s Half Acre. Visitors to this section have the chance to learn more about what took place during those times and how law enforcement ultimately turned the area around.

Hell’s Half Acre is located at 1277-1289 Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

Montgomery Street Antique Mall

Do you like shopping for antiques? If so, you will certainly enjoy a trip to the Montgomery Street Antique Mall. This venue is the largest antique mall in Fort Worth, with over 61,000 square feet of antique booths. To thoroughly explore this venue, it’s recommended that you carve out at least two to three hours of your day. Hours of operations do vary, so be sure to check ahead before you head out.
