What is Drug Rehab Like?

At Legacy Healing Center we offer a range of treatment programs to tailor the right level of care to the needs of each individual.  Our aim is to provide our clients with the least restrictive program possible without risking the success of recovery.  Our treatment center offers both residential and outpatient programs.  

Those who choose to take advantage of our residential program will receive a minimum of 25 hours of clinical treatment per week, community housing in our beautiful residential setting, scheduled evening programs designed to support recovery, 12 step meetings, and relationship building to support a sober lifestyle. This is often the first step for patients who are currently suffering from addiction and are ready to turn their lives around.  

Our intensive outpatient program is an ideal next step after completing our residential program or another form of inpatient substance abuse treatment.  This program helps to ensure maintenance of sobriety and success at reintegrating back into society and the responsibilities of life.  Our intensive outpatient program includes a minimum of 9 hours of clinical treatment per week, optional housing in our beautiful residential setting, group and individual therapy, 12 step meetings, sober social activities, and relationship building within a recovery network.  

For clients who are fully integrated back into society, we also offer a non-residential outpatient program to ensure long-term success in recovery.  This option includes 1 hour of weekly therapeutic care plus other activities including 12 step meetings.

The first step on your journey to recovery is detoxing your body from the negative influences of drugs and alcohol.   A quality medical detox program is essential to your success and allows you to go through various withdrawal symptoms in a safe environment.  Legacy Healing’s medical detox program with clinical supervision is tailored to your specific needs and will gently and safely wean you off of the substances you’ve become addicted to.  

At Legacy Healing Center, one of the most important things our programs teach is the importance of developing healthy habits and relationships. Taking part in group and one-on-one therapy allows you to discuss your feelings throughout the program, begin to heal emotional wounds that may have led you to addiction, learn important coping skills that will serve you for the rest of your life and share your experience of addiction with others who can relate.  It is also an ideal opportunity to build lasting relationships with other participants who will become an important part of your long-term support system once your rehab is over.
