What Is Drug Rehab Like?

The bulk of your time in treatment will revolve around participating in various forms of therapy. Examples of counseling that we offer at Legacy include behavioral therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy.

Group therapy is a type of counseling that you will experience regularly. If you have ever been to a 12-step meeting, you will notice many similarities between them. During group therapy, you will have the chance to develop relationships with other people while discussing topics associated with addiction, sobriety, and recovery. You will be able to share your thoughts on the subject, and then you will listen to the opinions of other people in your group. During these sessions, we always caution our clients to remain respectful and open to what other people in their group are saying to develop their own views on the topic better.

What to Expect

What you will experience during treatment is dependent on the program that you enroll in. At Legacy Healing, we give our clients the option to choose between an inpatient or an outpatient program. Our outpatient program is designed for clients that don’t have the flexibility to remain on our campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For example, suppose you have personal or professional responsibilities that you need to see to. In that case, an outpatient program gives you the chance to cater to those responsibilities while still addressing your addiction issues.

On the other hand, our inpatient clients will remain at our facility for 30, 60, or 90 days. You will have the peace of mind of knowing that you are in a safe and relaxing location that includes a warm bed, access to delicious food, and the around the clock care of our trained addiction experts.

You will need to work together with the people in your group to solve the room’s puzzle. The escape game typically takes about an hour, and the themes of the rooms periodically change.

Encampment Store

The Encampment Store is a specialty store that is located in the Valley Forge visitor center. This unique store has a variety of merchandise that focuses on the Revolutionary War, including books, toys as well as reproductions of different historical documents. You can also sign up to take a private tour of the Valley Forge area. The Encampment Store is open seven days a week between 9 AM and 5 PM.

Stillpoint Yoga

Taking part in physical activity is a great way to help you along in your recovery. A yoga class at Stillpoint Yoga and Float can be a great source of relaxation and focus. You can sign up to take a yoga class, but you can learn more about medication and float therapy. Yoga classes take anywhere between a half-hour to an hour and help you develop your inner peace.
