Benefits of 30, 60 and 90-Day Rehabs

There are numerous advantages when it comes to enrolling in any one of our programs. Regardless of whether you opt to participate in our inpatient or outpatient program, you will need to decide whether you would like your treatment plan to last 30, 60, or 90 days. Before you begin any type of treatment program, you should first think about first going through our detox program if you are still in active addiction. Detox allows you to remove the influence of drugs or alcohol from your body under the watchful eye of a trained team member. Once you complete detox, you can begin your treatment program.

Our 30 day and our 60-day program provide you with the initial time you need to recover emotionally and physically from your addiction. It also gives you the first insight you need to begin to uncover the reasons that led you down the path of addiction in the first place.

In most cases, we believe our 90-day program offers you the best possibility of achieving and maintaining long term sobriety. During this extended program, you will still take part in different therapy forms, including individual and group counseling. Individual therapy entails meeting with a member of our team in a personal setting to speak about how you are progressing in your treatment and discuss topics associated with your recovery that you may feel uncomfortable talking about in a group atmosphere.

On the other hand, group therapy enables you an excellent opportunity to begin to develop your support system. This type of counseling will show that you are not alone in how you feel when it comes to addiction and recovery. During these sessions, we will encourage you to share your thoughts and feelings and listen to those around you.

What Happens After Rehab?

We understand that your recovery is not something that ends once you leave Legacy. Instead, it is a life long journey during which you need all of the support and reassurance you can get. With this in mind, we developed our Addiction Aftercare program. Participants in this program have access to continued care in the form of therapeutic support and access to the Legacy alumni community. We will provide you with information regarding Legacy activities you can attend to help you keep in touch with staff and other former clients to continue to reinforce the tools you learned during your time in treatment.

Sober Friendly Attractions Near Long Island

Returning home to Long Island after your stay at Legacy in South Florida is something you should always look forward to. While it is exciting to return home, you must do so with the understanding that you are now in recovery, and there are specific steps you should take to help you maintain your sobriety. For example, you should be sure to stay away from people, places, or activities that could jeopardize your sobriety. With this in mind, once you establish a healthy routine of attending 12-step meetings, you should try to visit some of the sober friendly attractions throughout Long Island.
