Regardless of whether you take part in our inpatient or outpatient program, your time will be split between participating in different forms of therapy and other activities that will help reinforce your newfound sobriety.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

The cost associated with treatment is a question that is brought up regularly when a prospective client is discussing their program options with one of our intake specialists. It’s important to remember that each treatment plan is individualized according to your needs and recovery goals, making the pricing different for each client. If you are struggling financially, we will do everything we can to work with you to get the care you need.

Does Insurance Cover Residential Rehab?

Legacy Healing Center works with many private insurance companies that cover a stay at a residential treatment facility. Our team is happy to help you cut through the red tape that is often associated with insurance and assist you in determining what is covered by your insurance provider.

What Is the Difference Between Inpatient and Outpatient?

It’s important to remember that there are benefits of both inpatient and outpatient treatment. The main difference between these two options is that inpatient clients will live on our campus for a set amount of days while our outpatient clients will come to Legacy at specific days and times for treatment and then leave the facility.

If you decide to enroll in our inpatient program, our team will provide you with a comfortable bed and room to sleep over the next 30 days. We will also ensure that you have delicious and healthy food created by our first-class chefs. Remember, if you have an allergy to any food, mention that to our intake specialist and our counselors when you come to Legacy.

Our outpatient program is more conducive for clients that realize that they need assistance with addiction recovery; however, they cannot commit to an inpatient program for one reason or another. For example, if you have responsibilities associated with your family or school, our outpatient model may be a better alternative for you.

When you call and speak to one of our intake specialists, they can provide you with more in-depth information about the details of each type of program.

Here are some suggestions for places to go:

Fort Totten Park

Are you a history lover? If so, Fort Totten Park should be on your list of places to visit. Many people are unaware of the fact that Fort Totten was a former Civil War fort. The fort was initially built in 1862 and was designed as an added layer of protection against Confederate ships. Interestingly, the fort continued to be used well after the Civil War into the 1970s. Today, visitors can walk through the different ruins of the fort and better understand what serving in this fort would have felt like.

Fort Totten Park is located off of Weaver Road, Queens, New York, 11359.

Steinway Piano Factory

If you enjoy music and the methods used to make pianos, you will unquestionably enjoy a trip to the Steinway Piano Factor. This family factor was first built in 1872 and quickly grew in popularity among pianists. Today, factory workers still use the same 19th-century machines that were first used to bend frames. Each piano key is painstakingly made by hand, while each detail of the piano’s wooden exterior is seen daily. Between September and June, visitors can tour this factor every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30 AM and 12 PM.

You can visit the Steinway Piano Factory at 1 Steinway Place, Queens, New York 11105.

Louis Armstrong House

The name Louis Armstrong is synonymous with legendary jazz music. Some don’t realize that Louis Armstrong grew up in the heart of Queens. Today, the house stands as a monument to the life of this incredible musician. As you make your way through the house, you will listen to the different tunes that Armstrong famously played. The home looks much the way that it did when Armstrong and his wife lived there, which helps to present a personal feeling to the museum.

The Louis Armstrong House is located at 24-56 107th Street, Queens, New York 11368.
