What Is the Difference Between Inpatient and Outpatient?

It’s important to remember that there are benefits of both inpatient and outpatient treatment. The main difference between these two options is that inpatient clients will live on our campus for a set amount of days while our outpatient clients will come to Legacy at specific days and times for treatment and then leave the facility.

If you decide to enroll in our inpatient program, our team will provide you with a comfortable bed and room to sleep over the next 30 days. We will also ensure that you have delicious and healthy food created by our first-class chefs. Remember, if you have an allergy to any food, mention that to our intake specialist and our counselors when you come to Legacy.

Our outpatient program is more conducive for clients that realize that they need assistance with addiction recovery; however, they cannot commit to an inpatient program for one reason or another. For example, if you have responsibilities associated with your family or school, our outpatient model may be a better alternative for you.

The fort was initially built in 1862 and was designed as an added layer of protection against Confederate ships. Interestingly, the fort continued to be used well after the Civil War into the 1970s. Today, visitors can walk through the different ruins of the fort and better understand what serving in this fort would have felt like.

Each piano key is painstakingly made by hand, while each detail of the piano’s wooden exterior is seen daily. Between September and June, visitors can tour this factor every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30 AM and 12 PM.

The name Louis Armstrong is synonymous with legendary jazz music. Some don’t realize that Louis Armstrong grew up in the heart of Queens. Today, the house stands as a monument to the life of this incredible musician. As you make your way through the house, you will listen to the different tunes that Armstrong famously played. The home looks much the way that it did when Armstrong and his wife lived there, which helps to present a personal feeling to the museum.
