Alcohol Rehab Centers for Springfield, MA Residents

When you are struggling with an addiction to alcohol, it’s particularly important that you find a treatment center where you feel comfortable. It’s important to remember that an essential part of your overall recovery is changing the people, places and things around you that influenced you to drink. Alcohol is readily available in our society. If you go to a restaurant, you will likely be met with a full drink menu and liquor stores around the country typically open at 9 AM every morning. Additionally, you can barely go a few blocks in any town before seeing either an advertisement for alcohol or a liquor store.

By coming to Legacy Healing, you are making the definitive decision to change the environment around you to better achieve long-term sobriety. Sadly, there is a traumatic event that a client experienced that triggered an addiction in many cases. Our team will work with you to identify the series of events that may have turned you toward alcoholism. From there, we will ensure you have the tools you need to maintain your sobriety once you return home.

Addiction Treatment Centers
for Springfield, MA Residents

If you have never been to an addiction treatment center before, it’s understandable that you may feel apprehensive about coming to Legacy Healing for your care. You can rest assured there is nothing you need to be worried about when you trust the Legacy Healing team. When you come to our treatment center, you will work through your addiction’s effects by participating in different forms of therapy.

One of the main forms of therapy that you will experience is group therapy. Clients that have been to a 12-step meeting will recognize the similarity between a group therapy session and a 12-step meeting. During these sessions, clients will have the chance to listen to and share their thoughts on different topics associated with addiction and recovery. A member of our team will typically guide these sessions, and you will be encouraged to express your ideas on the topic being discussed and, in turn, listen to the ideas of the other people that are a part of your group. Actively participating in this form of therapy will help you learn more about yourself, and it will help you begin to make connections with people in your group.

Individual therapy, also known as one-on-one therapy, is another important form of counseling that you will experience while at Legacy Healing. Understandably, you may not feel comfortable talking about certain aspects of your life in front of other people, especially when you are just beginning your journey toward sobriety. Individual therapy sessions are set up in such a way where you can meet with one of our counselors in private to talk about these events and how you are progressing in your treatment. If any changes need to be made to your plan, these sessions are ideal for talking about them.

Unfortunately, addiction tends to affect every member of your family in one way or another. Many times, it’s not uncommon for addiction to breakdown the relationships within a family. Our team understands the great benefits of having the support and love of your family members as you begin to navigate the different aspects of your addiction, which is why we offer you and your family the opportunity to take part in family therapy. During these sessions, you will meet with your family member at our facility in a neutral setting. Doing so will allow you and your loved ones to begin to heal so you can begin to mend your relationships.

Behavioral therapy is another type of counseling we provide at Legacy Healing. In some cases, a person struggling with addiction may also be combating a variety of mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. Our team strives to remove the stigma of mental illness and provide you with the tools that you need to address your addiction and your mental illness.

Remember, regardless of whether you decide to go through our inpatient program or our outpatient program, whether you decide to stay with us for 30 days or 90 days, you will still experience these same forms of therapy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our therapeutic technique, a member of our team is always happy to speak with you. Feel free to ask for more information about our therapy options when you initially call and speak to one of our recovery specialists.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

When you consider the cost associated with treatment at Legacy Healing, it’s important to remember that your recovery plan is individualized and tailored to your needs and goals. This customization means the total cost of your care may be very different from that of another client. Legacy Healing Center does accept and work with many insurance companies that can help offset the total cost of care.

We believe every person combating addiction should have the opportunity to overcome their addiction. If you don’t have insurance and are concerned about your treatment plan’s cost, please let us know. We will do everything that we can to make it possible for you to come to Legacy Healing.

How Does Drug Detox Work?

While it’s true you will do a tremendous amount of work when you begin to work through your recovery program. It’s important not to overlook the importance of first going through a detox program. When you are in the throes of active addiction, you can’t focus on the steps you need to take to overcome your addiction. In these cases, we strongly recommend you first go through our drug detox program so you can remove the influences your drug of choice currently has on your body. This way, you can begin your treatment program with a clear mind that will help you focus and absorb what you are learning.

Another important reason why it behooves a client to first go through our detox program is that our team will help you manage the withdrawal symptoms you are sure to feel within a few hours of the last time you consumed your drug of choice. Although it’s hard to tell the exact type of withdrawal symptoms you will experience, in most cases, clients have stated that they feel as though they have the flu.

While these symptoms will dissipate over the next few days, there is always the possibility that your symptoms could become potentially deadly. This is why we strongly recommend that you never try to go through the detox process by yourself. You should always do so under the watchful eye of a trained medical professional.

How Does Alcohol Detox Work?

There isn’t a severe difference between drug detox and alcohol detox. However, one of the noticeable differences is that clients who go through alcohol detox are usually likely to feel more nauseous. Also, withdrawal symptoms tend to peak around the second or the third day, and usually, clients feel much better by the end of a week.

Like a client who is withdrawing from drugs, there is always a chance that withdrawal symptoms connected to alcoholism could become deadly. In severe cases, a person could experience a seizure or experience tremors.

When you come to Legacy Healing, you can count on our team monitoring you around the clock for any type of serious withdrawal symptoms. We will do everything we can to keep you comfortable during this important transition.

How Long Is Rehab?

One of the biggest decisions you will need to make when you are putting together an alcohol rehab in Springfield treatment plan is related to your treatment plan’s length. We commit ourselves to never taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach to recovery, which is why we offer clients the option to go through a 30, 60 or 90-day treatment program.

Our 30-day program was specifically designed for clients who understand that they have an addiction issue. However, they are not ready to commit to a long-term program. During those first 30 days, you will receive the initial taste of your sobriety. You will give your mind and body the time it needs to begin the healing process. Keep in mind that if you ever want to extend your treatment program, you can do so at any time simply by speaking to a member of our team.

Our 60 and 90-day programs were created for clients interested in committing more time to their recovery journey. Whether you decide to go through our inpatient or outpatient program, you can always count on the Legacy Healing team to be ready to give you the encouragement you need to continue with your program and to remain committed to the process.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage for Rehab?

Legacy Healing Center proudly works with a number of the leading insurance carriers throughout the country. Over the years, insurance companies have begun to realize that addiction is not just something a person asks for, but it is actually a disease. With that understanding, insurance companies will typically cover most if not all of your stay at Legacy.

However, you should note that many times the cost associated with detox is not something that many insurance companies cover. If you were recently a client at another treatment center, your insurance company might require you to wait a certain number of days before they will cover your time at Legacy Healing. If you aren’t sure what is covered under your insurance coverage or need help when it comes to cutting through the red tape often associated with insurance companies, let our recovery specialist know when you first reach out to us.
