During the time that you are in one of our drug treatment programs, you will work toward focusing on yourself and your recovery. You will start to explore the events in your life that led to your addiction and understand what you can do to avoid the temptation of falling back into your addictive ways once you leave. You will do this by taking part in certain forms of therapy. Examples include group therapy, family therapy, behavioral therapy, and individual therapy. When you speak to a recovery specialist, they will be able to provide you with more insight into the treatment at Legacy.

What you can expect during your time at Legacy will significantly depend on the type of treatment program you choose. Although we work personally with each of our clients to develop a plan that suits their needs, you will have different experiences if you decide to work through an inpatient program instead of an outpatient program. For example, an inpatient client will live on our campus during their treatment program, while a client working through an outpatient program will come to our facility on set days and times.

For clients that complete a program through Legacy Healing, we provide you with the opportunity to enroll in our Addiction Aftercare program. William Trent House

The William Trent House has the distinction of being known as the oldest building in Trenton. Trent House played an essential role in the years following the Revolutionary War. When a severe outbreak of yellow fever took hold of Philadelphia, influential lawmakers flocked to Trent House to continue their work. Today, the building stands as a museum for visitors who are interested in learning more about this interesting and still dangerous period.
