Wayne P. Brown

Currently living in the United States Wayne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Addiction Professional (CAP), and a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CHT) with a successful consulting and psychotherapy practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In his role as adjunct professor for the faculty of general education at University of Toronto, he teaches courses in psychology, critical thinking and Cognitive Sciences. He has also met requirements as a licensure supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Work interns. Wayne obtained his B.A. from the University of Toronto and his Master of Social Work degree from Florida International University in Miami. Wayne has completed intensive training in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Institute for survivors of sexual violence, Inc. In addition to his private practice Wayne regularly conducts lectures and workshops in the South Florida community, and was most recently recognized by the Florida Department of Health “for his enduring commitment to the profession”. As a seasoned mental health professional and educator he is keenly dedicated to the welfare of his clients.
